underworld 2 is in the making
supposedly there's a Pirates of the Carribean 2 in the making
and rumors of "The Hobbit"
also VERY important to note...
FIREFLY... the movie!!!!
very good series... the series has a very old west flavor to it.. but is done with a very good mix of sci-fi and old west. Not sure about the movie though.

I want to read the Da Vinci Code, although I have heard mixed reviews of it.

I've read the book ... also the preceeding book "Angels and Demons" and the DaVinci Code is a good book.. great page turner. The thing about the DaVinci Code, is despite all that is said about it, it has it's basis in history, some of the details I'm not so sure of, but it's still there. I myself recommend reading the book with an open mind, but a hint of skepticism as depending on which school of thought you are a member of it can give you many ideas and answers. Also keep in mind.. this is a work of FICTION, written for entertainment and not to help support some secret consipiracy that many people swear up and down is present today. I'd just chill and enjoy the book for what it is.. a very good and entertaining book.

Yep, I have Angels and Demons. It was a pretty good story. I'm waiting for the DVC to come out in paper back though, almost 2 years and its stsill only in hard cover. =/

I need a new book to read. I'm suurounded by hundreds of books but I have read them all. Maybe I'll start re-reading. *grins*

That is what I will do. Time to re-read the Sharpe series by Bernard Cornwell. There are only 20 in the series so that will keep me busy until my AC adaptor comes in!
